1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Lumina Space iOS application and related product pages, settings flows, subscription screens, support interactions, and legal pages that are directly connected to Lumina Space.
It does not apply to independent third-party services, including Apple App Store, Apple Photos, Apple iCloud, Apple subscription management, or any external sites and services that Lumina Space may link to. Those services operate under their own rules and privacy practices.
2. Information we process
2.1 Photo library content and related metadata
When you grant photo-library access, Lumina Space may access and process photos, videos, previews, and media-related metadata that are necessary to provide the product's cleanup features.
- Photos, videos, thumbnails, and preview images.
- Local identifiers, file sizes, durations, dimensions, media types, and creation dates.
- Feature results such as similar groups, screenshot classification, blurry-shot results, large video and short video groupings, people albums, and memory-lane selections.
- Location descriptions derived from media metadata, such as city or country/region, when used in Memory Lane or other review flows.
Photo and Video Analysis and Organization
Our app may analyze photos and videos in your gallery to help you organize and categorize content, such as grouping similar photos or people.
- All analysis is performed locally on your device.
- We do not collect, store, or transfer any biometric data.
- We do not upload your photos, videos, or analysis results to any servers.
- This feature is solely for improving your photo album organization experience.
Based on the current product design, Lumina Space does not request real-time device location permission. However, if your media already contains embedded location metadata, the app may use that metadata to display contextual information for media review.
2.2 Subscription and billing information
When you purchase, restore, or manage a subscription, we may process information such as:
- Subscription product identifiers.
- Subscription status and validity period.
- Purchase or restore status returned by Apple.
- Order-related identifiers and transaction results needed to unlock or verify access.
Payments for App Store subscriptions are generally handled by Apple. We do not generally receive or store your full payment card number or payment password.
2.3 Device and diagnostics information
To keep the app running correctly and to investigate issues, we may process:
- Device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings.
- Feature state, permission state, crash data, and error or diagnostic information.
- Whether access to your photo library is available, denied, or restricted.
2.4 Support and feedback information
If you contact us, we may process the information you provide, including:
- Your email address and any name or nickname you include.
- Your support request, screenshots, bug details, feedback, or complaint content.
- Information relevant to resolving billing, privacy, technical, or product questions.
3. How we collect information
We generally collect information in the following ways:
- You provide it directly, for example when you email support or request subscription help.
- You authorize access through iOS system permissions, such as photo-library access.
- The app generates it while providing features, such as scan results, state information, or diagnostic events.
- Apple or other distribution and billing services return the minimum purchase and entitlement information required for subscription handling.
4. Why we use information
We use personal information and media-related information for the following purposes:
- To provide photo and video cleanup, scanning, review, preview, restore, and delete-related flows.
- To identify categories such as similar photos or videos, screenshots, blurry shots, large videos, short videos, people albums, and memory-driven review items.
- To process subscriptions, restore purchases, verify entitlements, and support billing-related access.
- To maintain product compatibility, reliability, security, and debugging workflows.
- To respond to support requests, complaints, privacy questions, and rights requests.
- To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from regulators, courts, or other authorities.
5. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we generally rely on one or more of the following:
- Your consent, including permission-based access to your photo library.
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps necessary to provide the service you request.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
- Legitimate interests, where permitted by law and balanced against your rights and interests.
If local law requires a separate or more specific consent for a particular activity, we will request it in the manner required by that law.
7. Storage and retention
7.1 Storage location
Lumina Space is designed around your device and the iOS photo-library environment. Photo and video content is generally accessed through your device, your system photo library, and Apple services that you have already enabled, such as iCloud Photos where applicable.
If a future Lumina Space feature requires additional cloud processing or third-party hosting, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional notice before those changes take effect.
7.2 Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Media-access and cleanup state information may exist only for as long as the relevant feature flow requires it.
- Subscription and transaction-related information may be retained for accounting, tax, consumer, or platform compliance purposes.
- Support correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period to investigate, verify, and respond to issues.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration. These measures may include access controls, operational safeguards, and internal review processes.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If a security incident occurs, we will respond in accordance with applicable law and take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights that include:
- Requesting access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Requesting deletion of personal information where deletion is required by law.
- Withdrawing consent where processing depends on consent.
- Objecting to or restricting certain processing activities where the law provides those rights.
You can also manage some choices directly through your device:
- Turn off photo-library access in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Email us at osdaaio17@gmail.com for privacy requests.
We may ask you to verify your identity before responding to a request, and we may keep information that we are legally required to retain.
10. Children's privacy
Lumina Space is not directed to children as a primary audience. If you are not old enough to agree to this policy under the law where you live, use the service only with consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
If we learn that we have processed personal information from a child in a manner that requires parental or guardian consent and that consent was not obtained, we will take steps required by applicable law.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside the country or region where you are located if this is necessary for service delivery, support, platform operations, or business administration.
Where required by law, we will use appropriate legal mechanisms or safeguards for international transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. If the update materially affects your rights or how information is handled, we will provide notice in a manner appropriate to the product and the law that applies.
Your continued use of Lumina Space after an updated policy takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
